I’m Jenna, a Tampa dog trainer specializing in puppies and adolescent dogs. I’ve spent just shy of 20 years working in animal care and the last decade working directly with dogs and their people as a professional trainer.
My approach is rewards-based, fulfillment-forward, and focused on the stuff that actually matters while your puppy is growing up: safe socialization, communication, real-world skills, meeting their needs, and helping them learn how to navigate everyday life confidently—not chasing perfect obedience before their brain is even finished cooking.

Immersive in-home training while you take a break, reset, and prepare for a fresh start when they come home.
Perfect for traveling or overwhelmed humans and puppies who need a strong start. Includes in-home follow-up sessions and access to free community classes.
Program starts at $1400 per week.
THE PROACTIVE PUPPY PROGRAM
Consistent training without adding another task to your week. I'll work directly with your dog multiple times each week, building real-life skills before teaching you how to confidently maintain them at home. Includes access to free community classes.

GREMLIN SUPPORT LINE
Hands-on coaching for puppy parents who want guidance, answers, and a clear plan. Together we'll solve the challenges you're facing while building skills that make everyday life easier. Includes access to free community classes.

Leash skills, thoughtful socialization, new environments, vet and groomer prep, building neutrality and focus around dogs and people, and plenty of practice learning how to move through the world without needing to investigate everything in it.

Private coaching gives us time to troubleshoot the stuff happening between sessions, transfer new skills to you, and make sure what your puppy is learning actually works within your real life and is customized to your lifestyle with them.

Most weeks, clients can also join me for free Study Hall meet-ups around Tampa: low-pressure opportunities to practice together in real-world environments, work around other dogs and distractions, and build safe, appropriate social experiences when the puppies involved are ready for them.

The best time to start is as soon as your puppy comes home. Early training isn't about expecting perfect obedience—it's about building your relationship, their confidence, preventing unwanted habits, and teaching the life skills that make raising a puppy easier from day one.

Not necessarily. Early socialization and learning can start well before your puppy is ready to go everywhere. We can build age-appropriate experiences around your puppy's vaccination status and your veterinarian's recommendations, using your home, carefully selected environments, and lower-risk ways to introduce them to the world.

Not at all. Adolescence is often when leash pulling, jumping, barking, and selective listening really begin to show up. Whether your dog is 10 weeks or 18 months, we can create a training plan that meets them where they are.

Yes, but I don’t have one currently enrolling. Please join the interest list for the next session. When I have enough interest, I will open enrollment. Current training clients also have access to free Study Hall meet-ups most weeks, where we practice around real-world distractions and create appropriate social opportunities when the dogs involved are ready for them. If you need puppy training now, private programs are available.
