Community Classes

  • Guided Outdoor Adventure. Real-Life Skills.

    Less sidewalk. More woods.

Trails & Tails is a small-group, trainer-guided outdoor session designed to help you and your dog practice real-world skills in a real environment.

It’s not a social hour, and it’s not obedience drills in the trees.

It’s enrichment, thoughtful practice, and real-time support — in motion.

During each session, we focus on:

    • Moving calmly around other dogs and people
    • Building desired leash skills beyond the neighborhood
    • Letting dogs sniff and explore
    • Practicing settling outdoors
    • Working through challenges as they come up

Whether your dog is young and learning, navigating some bigger feelings, or simply ready for more real-world reps, this is a space to practice outside the living room — with guidance when you need it.

Group size is intentionally limited to maintain space, safety, and meaningful support.

    Before You Join

Puppy Classes & Group Dog Training in Tampa Bay

  • A 5-Week Guided Puppy Development Program

This isn’t a once-a-week puppy class where you’re sent home to “figure it out.” It’s structured group learning with individualized support — at a more accessible price point than private training.

    What We’re Building

    • Engagement around real-world distractions
    • Recall foundations
    • Leash skills & neutrality around dogs and people
    • Leave it & drop it
    • Relaxation & settle skills
    • Vet & groomer confidence
    • Strategic, educational puppy play
    • Advocacy and body language skills for you

And because life happens between classes — I help troubleshoot the real stuff, too:
Potty training, nipping, barking, separation & confinement training.
The “why is my puppy suddenly unhinged?” moments.

    Weekly Exposure Themes

Each week introduces controlled, confidence-building novelty and socialization:

    • Things on wheels
    • Novelty lab (hats, costumes, visual surprises)
    • Vet & groomer prep
    • Environmental confidence (surfaces, sounds, recovery games)
    • Four Seasons (from umbrellas to pool floats)

    What Makes This Different

In addition to 5 in-person classes, you receive:

    • Ongoing virtual support between sessions
    • Up to 3 private 30-minute virtual troubleshooting calls between classes
    • Individualized guidance tailored to your puppy and household
    • Strategic socialization
    • Real-time coaching

This is Not Your Average Puppy Class.
