Whether you're heading out of town or just feeling a little burnt out from raising a land shark with bladder and impulse control issues, The Puppy and Teenage Sabbatical programs offer structured rest and progress all in one.
These 1–4 week stay-in programs are designed for pups 8 weeks to 2 years old- though I will consider older dogs on a case by case basis, and takes place in my home — not a kennel. It’s a highly personalized experience that blends training foundations with enrichment, rest, socialization, and thoughtful structure.
Your pups time here includes:
Vaccination-safe outings (see: Puppy Socialization Outings for pups under 16 weeks old & all other enrichment services for older pups)
Exposure to household routines, gentle handling, positive husbandry experiences, and appropriate play
Daily enrichment and decompression, tailored to your pups needs and stage
Foundational life skills catered to what you and your dog need to enhance life back home.
Two in-home follow-up sessions to support continued success — we’ll troubleshoot challenges, reinforce what your pup learned, and help you confidently fold these skills into your day-to-day routine
This isn’t a “fix it and forget it” program — it’s a head start, with continuity. You’ll also receive regular updates while your pup is with me, along with a detailed handoff plan to help keep things on track once they return home.

Adolescent Audit is a weekly, 60-minute coaching session designed to help you navigate the growing pains, recalibrate your routines, and bring some clarity (and calm) back to your relationship.
We’ll work together on:
Rebuilding leash skills and recall
Practicing real-world engagement around distractions
Reinforcing calm behavior at home and in public
Managing overstimulation and regaining consistency
Troubleshooting what’s actually going on beneath the surface
